The L211 special rifle threat plate (7.62x39 API) is a lightweight, single curve, multihit, standalone plate. It weighs 3.5 or 5.5 pounds depending on the size and is just under .6" thick. It's a ceramic/composite design with light AP protection. It is finished with a water-repellent polyurethane coated 1000D Cordura fabric finish.
